INSP's freelance news service editor Billy Briggs won 'Scoop of the Year' at last night's prestigious Scottish Press Awards.

His feature (with Russell Findlay) 'Assad's Little Helper', revealed that Britain sold nerve gas chemicals to Syria 10 months after the uprising began.

Billy also won the magazine writer category at last year's awards, for his work with The Herald and Spectrum.
