Greetings of the Season from Narodna Dopomoha!

2011 has been a year of changes for Narodna Dopomoha –

• We have a new building, with 44 beds for homeless people (20 in the night shelter, and 24 in dormitories for men and women), three toilet & shower facilities, and a community room with kitchen and laundry facilities, administration, document / homelessness registration centre and a big classroom.
  
• The Social Taxi provided services to over 200 people since March – as we now own our vehicle.
  
• Some new training programs are expanding, while our classes in cooking & restaurant training have come to an end.
  
• We have established some new good partnerships and of course, are grateful for the continued support of old and dear friends.

We are pleased to let you know that no one died on the streets of our city from being homeless last winter. This is because of your support. Because of your gifts of time, talent and treasure, we are able to offer to the homeless, elderly, disabled, displaced and vulnerable a safe place and basic need services.

We are truly thankful to you for your friendship and your generous support.
