Danielle said the experiences in Sudan left a "deep impression" on her. "With so many of the country's citizens living in extreme poverty, the challenges for the new nation are huge. It was hard to see so many innocent people- including many women and children- suffer, but it is important that these stories are being told. I hope the pieces and stunning photography will be republished by many street papers."
Danielle was accompanied on the trip by two Scottish mainstream journalists and a photographer, all of whom kindly agreed to donate their material to SNS.
